First Lines Fridays #6 17th July 2020

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?  If you want to make your own post, feel free to use or edit the banner above, and follow the rules below:

  • Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
  • Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
  • Finally… reveal the book!
It's Friday and it's time for First Lines Fridays. To be honest, I don't have any idea what book that I should read after I finished The Big Four by Agatha Christie. At first, I want to try to read To All The Boys I've Loved Before, but I felt so much lazy. Therefore, I choose an alternative, which is to read a poetry book.

I don't know whether I can make a review about it or not. But, let just give it a try.

So, here is the first line for today's FLF.

Untuk mereka yang belum tentu diingat

If I could translate it, it would be.. "for those who don't necessarily to be remembered"

Besok Kita Belum Tentu Saling Mengingat by Dopra

Saat Kamu Tidak Mencintaiku Lagi

saat kamu tidak mencintaiku lagi
daun-daun kehilangan hijaunya
angin kehilangan desirnya
laut lupa pada asinnya
dan puisiku ditinggalkan aksaranya

I just hope this poetry book not that much depressing, tho.
